End of Year ….. Double Success!

2024 has ended on a very positive note at Forge. Following the recent submissions for Planning Approval on both the Teals, Stamford project on the Burghley Estate and The Flower Pots Brewery Extension @ Cheriton we were delighted when projects received positive Decision Notices within days of each other.

First off came Flower Pots. When the approval was confirmed on the 12th Dec 2024 – the decision to grant approval was issued by Winchester City Council in-conjunction with South Downs National Park – the promptness and positivity of the Local Authority was a welcome change. The Case Officer dealt with the approval under delegated powers with no extraordinary conditions.

Secondly, on Christmas Eve the Local Authority of Peterborough City Council issued the relevant decision on Teals new store at Stamford. Also released under delegated powers both projects are testament to the hard work and diligent consultation undertaken by both Clients and their respective Design Teams.

We are delighted to be working on such significant projects which reflect the very best attributes of localism, sustainability and economic diversification.

These projects will ensure that existing businesses will continue to prosper and grow, creating many opportunities for employment and local prosperity. These projects are incredibly important to the local community in which they are rooted and reflect the care and attention taken in the engagement process.

They are exactly the type of project which should be supported by the Planning Authority in which they are based and on this occasion we are very pleased that we can confirm such a positive outcome.

Both Clients are keen to proceed to construction and we look forward to sharing news of progression on site in 2025.
