Bournemouth Borough Council sought a private sector partner for a long term joint venture (a Local Asset Backed Vehicle) to rejuvenate Bournemouth town centre. A key objective was to identify optimum regeneration projects for an initial portfolio of 16 town centre car park sites, within a wider cohesive vision for the future of the town centre. Morgan Sindall Investments Ltd (MSIL) appointed Terence O'Rourke to help coordinate the master planning input to its outline and final tenders during a six month bidding process.
Michael was the Design Director who led the scheme on behalf of the Practice. MSIL was selected as the council's preferred regeneration partner and Michael continues to support the established partnership of MSIL and the council (the Bournemouth Development Company) having recently facilitated their Annual Strategy Review.
